Day 5: Discovering Fes
Spend another full day exploring the treasures of Fes. Explore the medina’s many neighbourhoods, visit the workshops of local artisans and discover the daily life of this fascinating city. Don’t forget to try the delicious sweets and pastries at one of the local markets.
Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara:
Sahara Desert Adventure Today we embark on an exciting adventure to Merzouga, the gateway to the majestic Sahara Desert. Along the way, you will enjoy the changing landscapes as we enter the Atlas Mountains and cross fertile valleys and palm groves. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will immerse yourself in the magic of the desert as you venture on a camel ride through the golden dunes. Enjoy an unforgettable night under the stars in a traditional Berber camp, where you will be welcomed with music, dance and a delicious dinner around the campfire.
Day 7: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate: Beauties of the Desert
After a magical night in the desert, we wake up to a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will explore the surroundings of Merzouga and visit the impressive Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley, where we can admire spectacular landscapes and traditional villages. We continue our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert”, where we will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a
fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for numerous films.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Kasbah de Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech: Charm and Elegance
Today we head to Marrakech, the jewel of southern Morocco. Upon arrival, you will immerse yourself in the bustling life of the medina, explore the city’s lush gardens and admire the stunning architecture of the Koutoubia Mosque. In the evening, you can enjoy an exciting traditional dance and music show in Jemaa el-Fna Square.
Day 9: Exploring Marrakech
Today we dedicate another full day to exploring the treasures of Marrakech. You will have the opportunity to visit places such as the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Gardens and the Marrakech Museum, while immersing yourself in the rich history and culture of the city.
You will also be able to do some shopping in the souks and enjoy delicious Moroccan cuisine in one of the many restaurants in the city.
Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira: Coastal Charm
On our tenth day, we head to Essaouira, a charming coastal town known for its laid-back atmosphere, impressive fortifications and golden sandy beaches. Upon arrival, you can explore the white-and-blue medina, stroll around the fishing port and enjoy delicious fresh seafood at one of the seafront restaurants.
Day 11: Rest in Essaouira
Today we dedicate the day to relaxing and enjoying all that Essaouira has to offer. You can choose to take surfing lessons in the crystal-clear waters, browse the local craft shops for unique souvenirs, or simply relax on the beach and enjoy the sun and sea. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at a restaurant overlooking the sea and savour delicious Moroccan cuisine.
Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech
On our last day, we return to Marrakech to end our adventure. You will have time to do some last-minute shopping, visit the places you have left unfinished or simply walk around the city and say goodbye to its charms. In the evening, you can enjoy a last dinner in a traditional restaurant and remember the unforgettable moments you have lived in Morocco.
