Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca
Our journey begins with arrival in the vibrant city of Casablanca, where we will be greeted with warm Moroccan hospitality. After settling into our accommodation, we will have time to explore some of the city’s highlights, including the impressive Hassan II Mosque and the lively Corniche promenade.
Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakech
On the second day, we head to the charming city of Marrakech, known as the “red city” because of the colour of its buildings. Here, we immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of the souks, visit the city’s lush gardens and explore the impressive architecture of the Medina, including the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square.
Day 3: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
We leave Marrakech for the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “gateway to the desert” and famous for its film studios. Along the way, we cross the spectacular High Atlas, enjoying stunning views of the mountains and valleys. In Ouarzazate, we explore the film studios and ancient kasbahs that have been the setting for numerous famous films.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Valley of the Roses – Gorge of the Dice
We continue our adventure towards the stunning Todra Gorges, a natural wonder formed by the Todra River. Here, we marvel at the towering rock walls that rise on either side, offering a spectacular landscape to explore and photograph. We can walk along the river bed and enjoy the serenity and beauty of this unique place.
Day 5: Dades Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
Day five brings us to the highlight of our trip: the Merzouga desert. After an exciting road trip, we reach the golden sand dunes that stretch as far as the eye can see. Here, we ride camels for a magical sunset ride through the dunes, followed by an
unforgettable night under the stars in a Berber camp.
Day 6: Merzouga – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
On this extra day, we explore the charming oases of Erfoud and Rissani, located in the heart of the desert. Here, we discover the natural beauty of the oases and the rich history of the region, visiting ancient kasbahs and
traditional markets. We also have the opportunity to taste delicious
local cuisine and learn about everyday life in the desert.
Day 7: Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedar forest – Ifrane – Fez
On our final day, we bid farewell to the desert and head towards the ancient city of Fez, one of the jewels of Morocco. Here, we immerse ourselves in the city’s rich history and culture, exploring its labyrinthine alleys, ancient mosques and vibrant souks. It’s the perfect ending to our unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
