Our journey begins in Marrakech, a vibrant city full of life and energy. From here, we head towards the Atlantic coast, heading to the charming city of Essaouira. Known as the “City of Wind”, Essaouira is famous for its impressive ramparts, bustling fishing port and golden sandy beaches.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, we will lose ourselves in its labyrinthine streets filled with artisan shops and charming cafes. We will enjoy a delicious meal of fresh seafood in one of the seaside restaurants and relax while admiring the panoramic views from the city walls.
We will spend the night in a charming riad in the heart of Essaouira, ready for more adventures in the following days.
Day 2: Essaouira Exploration: Discover the Magic of the Coastal City
The second day is dedicated to exploring the charms of Essaouira at your own pace. You will have time to stroll around the fishing port and watch the fishermen unload their catch of the day. You can visit the Skala fortress and marvel at the stunning views of the ocean from its imposing ramparts.
In the afternoon, you can relax on the beach and enjoy the sun and sea while soaking up the laid-back atmosphere of Essaouira. If you wish, you can also take part in optional activities such as surfing lessons, camel rides or boat trips along the coast. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner in one of the town’s charming restaurants before retiring to your cosy riad.
Day 3: Essaouira – Agadir: From the Coastal City to the Jewel of the South
On the third day, we say goodbye to Essaouira and head south towards the lively city of Agadir. The journey takes us through stunning landscapes, with ocean views and charming villages along the way.
Upon arrival in Agadir, we will be amazed by the modernity and dynamism of this coastal city. We will check into a luxury hotel by the beach and have free time to explore the city at our own pace. We can relax on the beach, take a stroll along the seafront or explore the local souk in search of unique souvenirs.
Day 4: Explore
Agadir: Discover the City’s Treasures Being one of the main tourist destinations in Morocco, Agadir offers a wide range of activities to enjoy. We can explore the city’s lively souk, where we will find a variety of local products, from spices to crafts and unique souvenirs. In addition, we can visit the Olhao Garden, a green oasis in the middle of the city, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility.
In the afternoon, we can choose to explore the surroundings of Agadir, such as the picturesque coastal town of Taghazout, famous for its world-class surfing beaches. Here, we can enjoy exciting water activities such as surfing, paddleboarding or simply relax on the beach and enjoy the sun. As night falls, we return to Agadir to enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants offering fresh seafood and traditional Moroccan cuisine.
Day 5: Agadir – El Jadida: Journey along the Atlantic Coast
On the fifth day of our tour, we bid farewell to Agadir and head north, following the picturesque Atlantic coast of Morocco. Our destination is the charming town of El Jadida, famous for its impressive
Portuguese fortress and charming old town.
During the trip, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and make stops along the way to explore picturesque fishing villages and beautiful beaches. Upon arrival in El Jadida, we will check into our hotel and have free time to explore the city at our own pace.
Day 6: Exploration in El Jadida: Discover the History and Culture
Day six offers us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich history and fascinating culture of El Jadida. We will visit the impressive Cité Portugaise, a 16th-century fortress built by the Portuguese that offers stunning views of the ocean and the city.
We will also explore the city’s charming old town, with its narrow cobbled streets and charming shops and cafes. We will visit the city’s mosque and learn about Moroccan history and culture as we explore its beautiful gardens and inner courtyards.
In the afternoon, we will have free time to relax on the beach, enjoy the sea breeze and sunbathe. As night falls, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants, where we can taste traditional Moroccan dishes and fresh seafood.
Day 7: El Jadida – Marrakech: End of the Tour
On our final day, we bid farewell to El Jadida and set off on the return journey to Marrakech, taking with us unforgettable memories of our adventure along Morocco’s Atlantic coast. During the return journey, we will have time to reflect on our experiences and enjoy the last panoramic views of the coastal landscape.
Once back in Marrakech, we said goodbye with our hearts full of gratitude for having had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Atlantic coast of Morocco.
