Day 2: Fez -Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Merzouga Desert: Journey through the Heart of Morocco
After saying goodbye to Fez, we head southeast towards the
Merzouga desert. Along the way, we pass through picturesque Berber villages,
lush oases and breathtaking landscapes as we approach the desert.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, we marvel at the immensity of the golden sand dunes and prepare for a unique desert experience. In the afternoon, we enjoy an exciting camel ride through the dunes and settle into a Berber camp to spend the night under a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate: Exploring Cinematic Landscapes
After enjoying a magical sunrise in the desert, we say goodbye to Merzouga and head towards Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert and the film capital of Morocco. Along the way, we pass through the spectacular Draa Valley and the impressive Todra Canyon.
Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, we explore this fascinating city and visit iconic sites such as the stunning Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. we explore its bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, lush gardens and labyrinthine souks. In the evening, we settle into our Marrakech accommodation and soak up the city’s unique atmosphere.
Day 5: Exploring Marrakech: Discover the Treasures of the Red City
On our fifth day, we have time to explore Marrakech at our own pace and discover the city’s hidden treasures. We can visit iconic landmarks such as the Bahia Palace, the impressive Koutoubia Mosque and the city’s colourful souks.
We can also enjoy a relaxing experience in a traditional hammam, where we immerse ourselves in the thermal waters and enjoy a relaxing massage. In the evening, we can delight ourselves with delicious Moroccan cuisine in one of the many restaurants in the city and enjoy a traditional music and dance show.
Day 6: Marrakech – Tangier: End of the Trip
On our last day, we say goodbye to Marrakech and begin the journey back to Tangier.
During the journey, we can stop at places of interest along the way or simply enjoy the scenery while reflecting on the experiences lived on this unforgettable trip.
Once in Tangier, we can use the remaining time to explore the city once again, shop for souvenirs at the local markets or simply relax on the coast and enjoy the sea views.
